Celebrate Passover and our freedom in Recovery at our Community Recovery Seder. Alcohol Free. Dietary laws observed. All are welcome.
This alcohol-free Seder (Passover ritual meal) is intended for all who
are journeying toward recovery, those in recovery, and their loved ones and
allies, to celebrate Passover in a safe way among others who speak the language
of recovery. This event is open to the community. All are welcome. Attendance
is confidential. We will have a seder meal for those attending in-person. You
do not need to keep kosher to attend and at the in-person seder kosher dietary
laws will be observed. In-person
tickets are $18 to help underwrite the cost of the meal. Please register at
Eventbrite to attend in-person.
A limited number of scholarships are available for those attending
in-person. We do not want finances to keep you away from the in-person seder,
please email email@example.com if you need one of the scholarships to
attend. We will be offering the opportunity for hybrid participation in-person
at the Tikvah Center for Jewish Recovery & Healing (3320 Dundee Road,
Northbrook, IL 60062) and via Zoom. There is no fee for zoom tickets. The
Community Recovery Seder will take place on Sunday, April 2, 2023 beginning at
5:00pm Central. To receive
the confidential zoom link for the Community Recovery Seder, please register at
Eventbrite and then email firstname.lastname@example.org
